Jewelry is about intimacy, connection and a narrative of creating special moments that we carry with us to tell something about ourselves.
My creative process is about the connection between the past and present, art and emotions and the wonder of the process by joining different styles and materials to discover new possibilities. Each piece is created by memories, emotions, attractive shapes, playful colors, texture and resemblance through hand drawn and random doodles, pattern and handcrafted from warm copper sheet or tough steel and transformed into long-lasting, inspiring and colorful wearable art.
My attachment and fondness for Enameling-Minakari is more than just a medium. It’s a binding force to my Persian roots where the intricate art of Minakari is woven with poets such as Rumi, Hafez and Omar Khayyam. My work gives a modern voice to this ancient art, yet preserves the sentiment, pure love, timeless memories and poetry that is woven into the art of Minakari.
